Welcome and thank you for your interest in our Head Gardener role at Bodnant Garden. Created by five generations of one family, this 82-acre garden is superbly located, with spectacular views across Snowdonia. One of the most interesting, diverse and important gardens in Britain, it’s built to a beautiful garden design and has unimagined plant collections and dramatic views. As Head Gardener, your job will be to build on our success: you’ll see the further horticultural potential here and understand exactly how we can engage with more visitors and generate more revenue.

So who are we looking for? It goes without saying that you’re an accomplished or aspiring Head Gardener and knowledgeable plant lover, with an eye for garden design. More than that, you’re a brilliant leader: enthusiastic, passionate and know exactly how to inspire those around you.

It’s an extraordinary job, and we’re committed to finding the very best candidate to take up this pivotal role. If you feel you have what it takes to lead and manage one of the Trust’s most significant gardens, we look forward to receiving your application.
